FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How I work, who I work with, and how to get started.

What is GO-AL?

GO-AL is the name I work under: the first two letters of my surnames, González Albarrán. I'm a football consultant and facilitator. Clubs call me in for scouting, youth tournament coordination, player integration and club partnerships across Latin America, North Africa, the USA and Europe.

Who do you work with?

Professional clubs, youth academies, development programs and trusted partners such as scouts and tournament organizers. I work with clubs rather than representing individual players as a traditional agent.

How is this different from a regular football agency?

I focus on finding talent in under-scouted regions, coordinating youth teams for international tournaments, helping players adapt abroad, and building long-term club and academy relationships. I'm a connector between clubs, cultures and hidden talent.

Which regions do you work in?

Latin America, North Africa, the United States and Europe, with an emphasis on youth academies and competitions outside the mainstream scouting spotlight.

Do you work in football or soccer?

Both. This site says "football", but I work with football and soccer clubs in markets where either term is used.

What kind of scouting do you provide?

Live match and tournament scouting, video player reviews, tailored player reports, trial or follow-up suggestions, and feedback on how a player fits a club's style and needs. My scouting relies on trusted networks and local knowledge.

How does youth tournament coordination work?

I help identify suitable tournaments, make initial contact with organizers, coordinate schedules and participation details, and handle logistics such as travel, local planning and on-site liaison. The scope depends on the club and the tournament.

Can you help players who move abroad?

Yes, always in alignment with the club. Support includes cultural context, early-stage communication assistance, and practical guidance on life off the pitch.

How can a club start working with you?

Start with a conversation. Clubs share who they are, their competitive level and their current needs, whether that is scouting, tournaments, partnerships or integration support. I then propose a next step. Send an email to begin.
